In Spite Of The Critics: There Is STILL An Oil Spill Job Boom!

Let us examine WHY there is a BP oil spill job boom and WHY there will continue to be a gulf oil spill job boom for a very long time.

For this example, we’re going to compare it to another large American oil spill. It’s well documented, well studied, and it’ll make it plain that your thinking is correct and you are on the right track investigating all the new oil spill employment opportunities:

I’ll take excerpts from valdezalaska.org and evostc.state.ak.us and make comparisons between Exxon Valdez and the BP / Deepwater Horizon spills.

Quote #1:

“The vessel spilled 10.8 million gallons of unrefined Alaskan crude oil into Prince William Sound, causing the largest oil spill in North American history.”  Note: 10.8 million gallons = 250,000 barrels

Comparison: Currently estimates say the Deepwater Horizon blown well is gushing 35,000 to 60,000 barrels per day.  That means it takes about 4 – 7 days to leak as much oil as the entire Exxon Valdez oil spill.  As of this posting, the BP oil spill has been going 82 days.  That means right now the Gulf Oil Spill is (at least) 12 to 21 times bigger than the Alaskan Oil Spill.

Can somebody say “OMG?!?”

The “1 Thing” That Gives Any Oil Spill Jobs Applicant A HUGE Advantage

As it was promised, I am now delivering the secret weapon.  Maybe it’s best termed “an overlooked weapon.” This is NOT shocking information I’m about to give you. But hopefully it’ll stir some of you and others…it’ll wake you UP.  Here we go.

Oil Spill Job Hunter’s Secret Weapon

We’ve been reporting to you on the massive hiring bonanza going on because of all of the newly created oil spill jobs.  It’s happening all over and around the Gulf of Mexico coast with major oil spill job opportunities in Florida and Louisiana, and somewhat less active but still VERY significant hiring going on in Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas.

Are there are a lot of jobs?   YES.   Nevertheless, there is some amount competition for these oil jobs.  I personally believe as this whole BP oil spill drama progresses that employers and employment agencies are going to have a very difficult time finding staffing from the local population and outside help is going to have to come in.  In fact, some areas are ALREADY having difficulty locating not just good but willing people to help.

Where does the outside help come from?  It comes from other U.S. states not mentioned above, and there would also likely be a flow of foreign and migrant workers to continue the oil spill recovery efforts that will certainly last for 20+ years and this oil work will be maintained at very aggressive pace the entire time.

This is good news for you!  You want to be a part of that.  You’re ready for a change, a new job, a new place to live, a New Life.  OR maybe you’re sick of always coming up short of money, and you’re ready to do anything to change your predicament.

“But dang!”

What about all the other people wanting these same jobs?  How in the world can I get my name pushed to the top of the pile – so I stand out – and get hired before other folks also wanting the same jobs?  It’s simpler than you might think.

Alabama Oil Spill Jobs Abound

Well, here we are at the end of June, and guess what…the freakin’ oil is still pounding the Alabama beaches.  Today is especially bad because of the high wave action bringing in more of the ugly spill crude onto the beach.

The extra rough seas are due to Tropical Storm Alex (now Hurricane Alex) in the far western Gulf of Mexico.  It’s bringing rain and thunderstorms, long period swells, winds, tides 12 inches higher than normal, and a greater potential for waterspouts.  This video highlights some of the latest news on oil hitting the Alabama coast (from one extremely optimistic point of view):

So, as the oil piles up on Alabama’s pristine beaches:  Orange Beach, Gulf Shores Beach, Ft. Morgan Beach, Dauphin Island Beach, and others, you are that much more likely to find the oil spill job of your choosing.

Now the obvious kinds of jobs are squeegeeing the beach or manually picking up tar balls that have washed up on shore, and these things are important and very necessary.  But there’s a lot more than that, and I’ll be spotlighting some of the other oil spill jobs next.

Gulf Fisherwoman Mad About Big Oil Spill Jobs Pawn Senator from Alaska

OIL SPILL JOBS NEWS REPORT UPDATE:

(Release on 09 JUNE 2010)
