Alabama Oil Spill Jobs Abound

Well, here we are at the end of June, and guess what…the freakin’ oil is still pounding the Alabama beaches.  Today is especially bad because of the high wave action bringing in more of the ugly spill crude onto the beach.

The extra rough seas are due to Tropical Storm Alex (now Hurricane Alex) in the far western Gulf of Mexico.  It’s bringing rain and thunderstorms, long period swells, winds, tides 12 inches higher than normal, and a greater potential for waterspouts.  This video highlights some of the latest news on oil hitting the Alabama coast (from one extremely optimistic point of view):

So, as the oil piles up on Alabama’s pristine beaches:  Orange Beach, Gulf Shores Beach, Ft. Morgan Beach, Dauphin Island Beach, and others, you are that much more likely to find the oil spill job of your choosing.

Now the obvious kinds of jobs are squeegeeing the beach or manually picking up tar balls that have washed up on shore, and these things are important and very necessary.  But there’s a lot more than that, and I’ll be spotlighting some of the other oil spill jobs next.
